King Township is well known for its estate gardens, and delights horticulturalists and enthusiasts with two garden tours a year. King won the Communities in Bloom: Five Blooms Award in 2006 and 2004 (Top Honors); Four Blooms - Natural and Cultural Heritage Conservation Award in 2005. King Township opens its gardens to the public in June (Schomberg Tour) and July (Nobleton and King City Tour).
